Local requirements
You must submit drawings and information necessary to describe the subject of the application including:
- existing and proposed elevations
- existing and proposed floor plans
- existing and proposed site sections
- finished floor and site levels
- roof plans
- plan of buildings to be demolished
- street scene drawing to show how the project could affect adjacent buildings (including spot heights and ground levels)
- plans of other structures on the land (ancillary structures) such as a bin store, cycle store, or combined heat and power unit
- a Heritage statement if:
- the site is in a Conservation Area
- you are working on a listed building
- the site affects a listed building's setting
All plans need to show key dimensions of all new works. Give the external height, width and depth on your elevations and floor plans. Please submit drawings at 1:50 or 1:100 scale, except the street scene drawing which should be 1:100 or 1:200 scale. You also need to include a scale bar which refers to the paper size, for example: 1:100 on A3.
