Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan
The Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan proposes a walking and cycling network across our borough. We will use this network to seek developer contributions, where appropriate. Surrey Country Council will use the LCWIP as the basis for investment in walking and cycling in the borough.
The LCWIP sets out some initial options for what could be implemented in some areas. Improvements will only progress if funding becomes available, and after more detailed studies.
Each proposal will have a full public consultation on the suggested changes. We have been working with Surrey County Council to develop the plan and they will lead the future phases.
