Sustainability statement/information

You should show how you'll follow sustainable design and construction practice for any project. This includes refurbishment and extensions.

For major developments, provide this information in a sustainability statement. The statement should show all the adaptations you have made to deal with changes to the climate or weather patterns.

You can find out more information in our Local Plan: Strategy and sites 2019 (policy D2).

You will need to submit a statement or complete a questionnaire to include:

• adequate information about energy and carbon emissions
• proportionate information about sustainable design and construction
