Apply for a minor variation of a club premises certificate

If you have a club premises certificate you can apply to make minor variations to the certificate.

This process can only be used where the variations will not impact any of the four licensing objectives:

prevention of crime and disorder
public safety
prevention of public nuisance
protection of children from harm

How to advertise your application

You must place an advertisement of the application during the representation period:

your advertisement must be on white A4 paper and placed where it can be seen by people without the need for them to enter the premises
the advertisement should be on display for 10 working days starting the day after you submit your application. Use this window advertisement (Word doc) [145KB] .

Will tacit consent apply?

For the minor variation, it is in the public interest that the authority must process your application before it can be granted. If you have not heard from us within a reasonable period, please contact us.
