- what type of homes we need

Our updated West Surrey SHMA Guildford Addendum Report 2017 (PDF, 585 KB)(opens new window) considers:
- latest population and household projections
- mid-year population estimates
- economic projections which have been updated in light of Brexit
The SHMA does not consider any factors which limit our ability to meet the housing need. To define our housing target in the Local Plan, we'll also consider factors like:
- sustainability
- site availability
- infrastructure capacity
- environmental designations
