Background

The Gambling Act 2005 requires us to prepare and publish a Statement of Principles every three years. Council agreed the updated Gambling Act 2005 Statement of Principles (PDF) [9MB] on 4 December 2018.

We are looking for feedback on the update of the Council's Gambling Act 2005 Statement of Principles 2022-25.

The existing Statement of Principles was published in January 2019 and is due for review by January 2022.

There are no changes in the draft to the current statement.

The consultation runs from 5 July to 1 October 2021.

We will review the policy on the 24 November 2021 and a summary of responses will be available on our website.
