Apply to perform on our bandstand
Bandstand concerts take place on Sunday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm between May and September each year.
Bookings are:
- made on a strictly first come first served basis
- limited to one concert date per band
- applications open in January and concert dates are confirmed in February each year
How to apply
Applications for this year have now closed. If you would like to apply to perform on our bandstand in 2025, applications will open in January 2025. If you would like to be added to our Bandstand Concert mailing list, email parks@guildford.gov.uk.

What happens next?
Once we've received your Bandstand Concert application, we'll confirm if you have been successful or not. We receive a lot of applications and we cannot offer every band a slot.
If your application is successful
If you've been offered a slot, we'll:
- write to you and confirm the concert date and time
- provide you with an information pack
- let you know about any additional requirements
- confirm the concert payment fee (currently set at £150)
- send you a separate purchase order request
- after your concert we will pay you once we have received your invoice
If your application is unsuccessful
If you've not been offered a slot, we'll write to you to let you know this.
