The Mount Cemetery
We are currently having work done to the chapel roof. This will not affect the access to the cemetery.
The tranquil grounds of the cemetery are home to war graves from two world wars.
This cemetery houses a beautiful listed chapel used by the local community. The grounds are also the final resting place of the poet and activist Edward Carpenter and Lewis Carroll, author of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
